This Buddhist prayer necklace is made from natural Baltic amber.

Malas are used for keeping the count while repeting a mantra. When not used for practice, Mala necklace should be placed on left wrist by looping it over. 

Mala necklace contains 108 cognac colour turned amber beads, three separating aged matt amber beads and one extra bead called Sumeru. Counting should always begin with a bead next to the Sumeru and end with the bead before it.

Amber beads have a precise round shape, are polished. Cognac colour beads are transparent, while aged amber beads are matt.

Beads are strung on a strong, flexible elastic band, therefore it is comfortable and safe to use for prctices and to wear with no fear it will scatter.
